Please do not provide sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for the requested service and you are authorized to provide it.

Information processed for clients

When providing services to a business client, LeverageAI may process personal information supplied by or collected on behalf of that client. This may include information about the client’s customers, prospects, employees, contractors, applicants, or other contacts, such as:

•    lead source, status, follow-up activity, and service interests;

•    customer-service or transaction records;

•    content, documents, and workflow data; and

•    business metrics and reports.

In these circumstances, the business client generally determines why the information is processed. LeverageAI processes it to provide the contracted services and in accordance with the client’s instructions, our agreement, and applicable law.

Information collected automatically

When you use the Services, we and our service providers may automatically collect:

•    IP address and approximate location derived from it;

We will not use personal information for a new purpose that is materially different from the purpose identified at collection unless we obtain additional consent or are otherwise permitted by law.

4. Artificial Intelligence and Automated Processing

Some LeverageAI services use artificial intelligence and automated systems. Depending on the service, these systems may help:

•    classify or prioritize leads and requests;

•    prepare draft emails, text messages, social posts, documents, or follow-ups;

•    summarize communications, documents, or business activity;

•    recommend next actions or workflow improvements;

•    extract or organize information;

•    generate reports, forecasts, or performance insights; and

•    automate routine administrative or marketing tasks.

AI-generated output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate. We design client workflows to include proportionate human review, particularly before external communications are sent or where an output may significantly affect an individual. LeverageAI does not make solely automated legal, credit, employment, healthcare, or similarly significant decisions about individuals through the public website or client portal.

We may use third-party AI and cloud service providers to process information. We contractually or technically limit their use of personal information where reasonably possible. We do not use client personal information to train publicly available or shared AI models unless the client and affected individuals have provided appropriate authorization or applicable law otherwise permits it.

Clients must not submit personal information to an AI-enabled workflow unless they have the authority and appropriate consent to do so.

5. Consent and Other Permitted Processing

Where consent is required, we may obtain express or implied consent depending on the sensitivity of the information, the reasonable expectations of the individual, and the circumstances.

By voluntarily submitting information for a clearly stated purpose, you consent to its collection, use, and disclosure for that purpose. We will seek express consent where required, including for sensitive information or uses that would not reasonably be expected.

You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us, subject to reasonable notice and any legal or contractual restrictions. Withdrawing consent may limit our ability to provide certain Services.

Applicable law may permit or require us to collect, use, or disclose personal information without consent in limited circumstances, including to comply with law, investigate fraud or security incidents, collect a debt, respond to an emergency, or establish or defend legal claims.

6. How We Disclose Personal Information

We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration.

We may disclose personal information to:

•    website, portal, hosting, database, cloud-storage, security, and technical service providers;

•    scheduling and appointment providers, including Calendly;

•    law enforcement, regulators, courts, government authorities, or other parties when required or permitted by law; and

•    other parties with your consent or at your direction.

Service providers are permitted to access personal information only as needed to perform services for us or our clients and are expected to protect it using appropriate safeguards.

When LeverageAI processes information on behalf of a business client, we may disclose that information as directed by the client or as required to deliver the contracted service.

7. Processing and Storage Outside Canada

LeverageAI and its service providers may process or store personal information in Canada, the United States, or other jurisdictions. Personal information processed outside your province or country may be subject to the laws of that jurisdiction and may be accessible to courts, law enforcement, or government authorities in accordance with those laws.

We take reasonable steps to select reputable service providers and use contractual, organizational, and technical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information.

8. Retention and Disposal

We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary to:

•    provide the Services and maintain the business relationship;

•    complete the purposes identified when the information was collected;

•    meet legal, tax, accounting, insurance, security, and contractual obligations;

•    resolve disputes and enforce agreements; and

•    maintain legitimate business records.

Retention periods vary according to the type and sensitivity of the information and the reason it is held. Where personal information is used to make a decision that directly affects an individual, we will retain it for at least the period required by applicable law. When personal information is no longer required, we will securely delete, destroy, anonymize, or de-identify it, subject to technical limitations and lawful backup-retention cycles.

9. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising

•    Essential purposes: security, authentication, network management, and core website or portal operation;

•    Preference purposes: remembering settings and improving usability;

•    Analytics purposes: understanding traffic, usage, errors, and performance; and

We may send promotional emails or electronic messages where you have consented or where otherwise permitted by law. You may unsubscribe using the link in a marketing message or by contacting us.

Even if you opt out of marketing, we may still send transactional or service-related communications, such as appointment confirmations, security notices, project updates, or responses to your requests.

11. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the personal information. These may include access controls, authentication, encryption, service-provider reviews, confidentiality obligations, backups, monitoring, and secure disposal practices.

No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we will investigate suspected incidents and take steps required by applicable law and our contractual obligations.

You are responsible for protecting your account credentials and promptly notifying us if you suspect unauthorized access.

12. Access, Correction, and Privacy Choices

Subject to applicable law, you may request:

•    confirmation of whether we hold personal information about you;

•    access to personal information under our control;

•    information about how it has been used and disclosed;

•    correction of inaccurate or incomplete information;

•    withdrawal of consent;

•    deletion or de-identification where the information is no longer required and no lawful retention obligation applies; or

•    information about our privacy practices and service providers.

To make a request, contact our Privacy Officer at Connor@myleverageai.com. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. We will respond within the period required by applicable law and will explain any lawful refusal or limitation.

If your information was collected by one of our business clients and LeverageAI processes it only on that client’s behalf, we may direct your request to that client or assist the client in responding.

If you have a concern or complaint, please contact our Privacy Officer first so we can investigate and respond. You may also have the right to contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

13. Children

The Services are intended for businesses and adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 without appropriate consent. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact our Privacy Officer.

The Services may link to third-party websites, platforms, booking tools, social networks, or other services. LeverageAI does not control those third parties or their privacy practices. Review their privacy policies before providing personal information.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to our Services, technology, service providers, or legal obligations. We will post the revised version and update the “Last updated” date.
